NO REGISTRATION OR PACKET PICK UP ON RACE DAY!
Runners who have participated in the Cayman Islands Marathon for 3 consecutive years qualify to receive a special rate in the 4th year when registering for the event. This rate cannot be taken advantage of online after 31 August so registrants must register at the Kelly Holding office to receive the special rate. This offer applies to half and full marathoners only. The rate for eligible participants is CI$76/US$95 for the full marathon and CI$52/US$65 for the half marathon.
All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable and name changes are not allowed. In addition, you cannot transfer/switch your registration from a half or full to a team relay or from a team relay to a full or half marathon. However, you can transfer/switch between the half and full marathons. Changing from the half to the full marathon will incur an upgrade fee.
If you are unable to participate in this year's race, your registration can be deferred for ONE YEAR at a cost of US$20. To do this, log back into your Haku Sports account and follow the instructions to defer. The deadline to defer is the Wednesday before the race.

All runners who complete their race will receive a commemorative finishers medal. In addition, awards are given to the top three (3) males and females overall in the marathon and half marathon and the top three teams in four (4) different relay divisions: Men's, Women's, Open Mixed and Corporate.
Awards are also given to the top three male and female in the following age categories:
29 and under | 30 to 39 | 40 to 49 | 50 to 59 | 60 and over |
Please note that if a runner wins an overall award, he/she is ineligible for an age category award.

Our course is VERY flat, probably the flattest you will ever run! In addition, our race is IAAF-sanctioned through the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) and can be used as a Boston Marathon qualifier.
The race begins on Seafarers Way, George Town in front of Bayshore Mall. You will run through South Church Street into South Sound and then onto Old Prospect Road to Prospect Point which is designated the turnaround. This is where the second and fourth legs of the relay will start. There you will turn around and run back using the same route and then turn onto Walkers Road where you will continue until you come to Hinds Way where you will turn right and continue onto Academy Way back to Walkers Road. Continue on Walkers Road until you come to the 4-way stop at Hospital Road. You will turn left onto Hospital Road and then left onto Elgin Avenue where you will run past the George Town Police Station and the George Town Post Office toward the Town Clock, turning left and continuing to the stop light on Seafarers Way and turn left and return to the Start/Finish line in front of Bayshore Mall. Full marathoners do it all over again!
There will be mile markers at EVERY mile on the course. Water stations will be near but not necessarily at the mile markers.
Toilets will be located as follows: Rubis Main Office, Smith Cove, South Sound Community Centre, South Sound Dock, entry to Old Prospect Road, Turn Around at Garden of Reflections, junction of Old Crewe Road & South Sound Rd., Rugby Club, corner of Hinds Way & Walkers Rd, corner of Walkers Rd & South Sound Rd, front of CIFEC/Vampt Motors, Walkers Road by 7th Day Adventist School/Cayman Academy and corner of Hospital Rd & Walkers Rd
ALL water stops will have water and Gatorade and a variety of snacks to help provide extra energy. All water stops will have cups of water and Gatorade and some stops will have bottles of water or Gatorade. Please make a note so you can plan your run accordingly.
The main medic stations are located at the start/finish line and the turnaround area. Health City will be providing medical services at the Start/Finish line. In addition, every other water station will have a Red Cross person and will be stocked with basic medical supplies such as band aids, Vaseline, A&D ointment etc. Every water station will have a radio to communicate with the Start/Finish line and the medic stations if necessary.
Please note that NO coaches, skateboards, baby joggers or strollers, bikes, dogs, unapproved support vehicles or inline skates are allowed on the course. Violators are subject to disqualification.
Please do not park along the route as we are trying to minimise the number of vehicles on the course. There are many empty parking lots in George Town on Sunday morning (e.g., Waterfront Centre, CIBC FirstCaribbean, Elizabethan Square, Government Administration Building, Cayman National, Cricket Square, lots in Dr. Roy’s Drive, George Town Library, etc.) so please utilise those. Do NOT park in any church parking lots.
We also offer a complimentary park and ride service. Buses will run continuously starting from 3:45am on race morning until 12:30pm. The shuttle service locations are Hotel Indigo, Westin Resort, Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman, Marriott Resort and Kirk Supermarket parking lot. Supporters can also use the buses to ride to the finish line but please give preference to runners.

The Walkers Cayman Islands Marathon uses the MyLaps timing system. All participants will receive a bib containing a timing chip in their race packet distributed at Packet Pick Up. Teams will receive a timing chip belt. Participants MUST wear their bib with timing chip. No chip, No Time. Bibs can be discarded after use.
Marathon Photos is the official photographer for the Walkers Cayman Islands Marathon. Photos are usually available on the evening of race day or the next day. Participants can visit https://marathonphotos.live/ and search for the event, then photos by name or bib number. There is also an option to download a free finisher's certificate.
